BAYAN ENSEMBLE " TRIO - MINSK "
| Performing group "Trio-Minsk" is a unique and the only bayan ensemble of this type in belarus. It was formed in 1980 on the initiative of Gennady Mandrus (died in 1993), Assistant Professor of the Folk Instrument Chair of Belarusian state Conservatoire (now the Academy of Music). The first participants of the Trio were V.Pisarchik, T.Braginets and G.Mandrus. Now the Ensemble is headed by Valentina Pisarchik, Assistant Professor of Bayan and Accordion Chair of Belarusian Academy of Music. The Ensemble performed in Denmark, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Russia, Poland, Bulgaria, France, Italy and other countries. |

At present "Trio-Minsk" is a Laureate of five International
Competitions (Italy, France-1991, Italy-1995, Germany-1997, Italy-1999) and a participant of different
types of home and international festivals. The Ensemble gives a lot of concerts. The repertoir includes
musical compositions of different artistic and style directions and genres by West European, Russian and
Belarusian composers both specially composed and arranged for the Trio. The quality of the bayan made by the
Belarusian firm "Slava"
(the town of Molodechno) greatly adds to the mastery of "Trio-Minsk"
- Valentina Pisarchik and her pupils Vladimir Gudei and Sergei Bondarovich.
